The John F Carroll Columbian Club will hold a Special meeting on May 19, 2008. The meeting will take place during an adjournment of the Council meeting with the permission of the Grand Knight. The purpose of the meeting is to read a resolution for the first time concerning the New Building Project. There will be another Special meeting scheduled immediately after the June 2nd Council meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to read the resolution for the second time and request a vote on the resolution from the members present.

COUNCIL MEETINGS:
Our Council holds regular Business meetings on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month starting at 8:00PM. Until further notice, our meetings will be held at the Our Lady of Mercy Parish Center.

ABOUT OUR COUNCIL:
Prince of Peace Council #5903 was Chartered on December 2, 1966. Forty-Seven Catholic men were inducted as First Degree members of the Order in Our Lady of Mercy Church hall in Englishtown, NJ. The inception of our Council was originally discussed by Catholic Laymen John Dolce, Edward Hye, John Desmond, Vincent Hozeny and District Deputy, James Burke, in a meeting held at Our Lady of Mercy Rectory with Father John C. Petri in June of 1966.
Our Council is named for The Messiah, Jesus Christ. Our members work closely with the Parish Communities of Saint Thomas More Church in Manalapan, NJ and, Our Lady of Mercy Church in Englishtown, NJ. Its members have donated many hours of service to help both Parishes in a variety of projects and many of our members are involved with several community organizations.
The Pastor of the collective Community is Reverend John P. Bambrick. We proudly serve our Pastor and all members of the Parish Community.
